a little more about us
WHO ARE WE?
Hi! We're Aaron and Beth. We began this journey in 2001, directing musicals for student theatre groups. One day in 2007, we had the crazy idea to sit down and write our own show! Our beloved original cast offered many suggestions along the way, and over the course of the next year, Esther was born! We have since tied the knot, and we currently live with our seven kids, one pet rabbit, one pet parakeet, and one pet cactus in Indianapolis (the musical theatre hub of the universe).
WHAT DO WE DO?
We are committed to developing and providing high-caliber stage productions that can be performed by amateurs or professionals. Besides our original show, Esther, we now also offer a musical adaptation of A Tale of Two Cities written by the brilliant Kirsten G.W. Dalton. And there are always more ideas in the pipeline... so stay tuned...
WHY DO WE DO IT?
Quite simply, we love God and we love theatre. In that order. We hope to give you shows that will engage your cast, thrill your audience, and honor our Creator.
WHAT'S WITH THE NAME?
“Five Lanterns” is a reference to the five lit lanterns in the parable of the ten virgins, told by Jesus Christ in Matthew 25.
